I am a dedicated physiotherapist with over a decade of experience in the field. With a passion for running that spans 25 years, my journey began in little athletics, to senior competitions at Knox Athletics Club focusing on the 400m and 800m. Now I just love the challenges and growth that running can bring over any distance, terrain or elevation. 

My extensive background as both a runner and a physiotherapist uniquely positions me to understand the physical and mental demands and challenges that runners will ultimately face. I am committed to helping fellow runners achieve their goals, prevent injuries, and enhance their performance through expert physiotherapy management and personalised recovery plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science - Deakin University BEx&SportSc

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy - The University of Melbourne

    DPT

  • APPI Pilates Level 1-4 with specific Pilates for Runners training.

  • APA Dry Needling Course

Preventing an injury is better than the frustration that an ongoing injury can bring any runner. Planning specific strength and conditioning program and monitoring your running loads can lead to a reduction of injury risk.

On of my highest priorities is providing client specific progressive rehabilitation programs to effectively recover from your injury, allowing you to get back on track to your running goals.

No one is taught to run, it is ingrained within our primitive mind. However this doesn’t mean everyone runs correctly. MRP can help analyse your running technique to improve your performance, efficiency and reduce the risk of injury.
